David Perkins is a freelance musician (pianist), composer and arranger.
As a musician he has been playing piano & keyboards professionally
for two decades. Engagements are many and varied and include background music for functions,
accompanying singers and instrumentalists, repetiteur work, auditions, exams,
dance classes and for shows, revues and cabarets. He also runs a Ragtime Band -
ELITE SYNCOPATIONS - providing nostaligic, traditional Ragtime
music. This is complimented by his on-going musical direction work for adult
professionals and amateurs, drama students and youth theatre groups.
David is also a published composer and has written a number of musicals for children in addition to an output of large and small scale choral music and other vocal compositions.
As an arranger David’s clients include Faber Music, Novello & Co, the legendary rock band Jethro Tull, plus over a hundred other performers, composers and aspiring pop idols.
