Timothy Ball
Timothy Ball, Musical Director, has pursued a diverse career embracing various aspects of music – conducting, composing, accompanying, writing and teaching. He received his principal music training as Organ Scholar at Lincoln Cathedral and his first conducting engagement was at the age of fifteen when he conducted Menotti's opera Amahl and The Night Visitors in Brighton. He has conducted at London's South Bank and St John's, Smith Square and worked, among others, with the Young Musicians Chamber Orchestra, the Westminster Chamber Orchestra, the Hatcham Chamber Orchestra, Opera for All, the National Youth Music Theatre at the Edinburgh festival and the Filharmonia Sudecka in Poland.
Leon Berger
Leon Berger ('Voice of God') has sung with Covent Garden, Scottish Opera, Welsh National Opera and New Sadler's Wells Opera, in over 100 opera & musicals roles. Well known in Gilbert & Sullivan circles, performing most of their lyric and patter roles, Leon is archivist to the late Donald Swann, recording his Isles of Greece song cycle.
